AMBER.. is a gorgeous golden retriever girl, now about 14 months old.  She managed to bypass our rehoming page when she arrived with us from Ireland towards the end of last year as she went into a foster we were pretty sure would keep her as they had a lively golden retriever boy in need of some company.

Sadly, it has not worked out. Amber has very many strengths - young, beautiful, great with other dogs and lovely with children - but she does have some issues that have proved a deal-breaker in her current home

Although Amber is fully-housetrained under supervision, she is less reliable un-supervised. Same goes with chewing - fine when watched, but she can be destructive when left and she will also bark when left, even with another dog for company. Finally, she disappears on walks - those butter-wouldn’t-melt looks bely a strong hunting instinct.

We feel that all these issues will disappear given the right set-up. She is a very bright girl who needs an experienced, active home and someone with patience and good boundaries who will enjoy putting in some focused time to set her back on the straight and narrow.

Amber is currently near us just south of Marlborough in Wiltshire.  She is fully-vaccinated, spayed, wormed, flea-treated and microchipped.
