Gideon... is a lovely black retriever x who was found recently wandering in the Cork countryside, presumably dumped. Goodness knows why as he’s fabulous - medium-sized (23in to top of shoulder) and about 10 months old with a great temperament.
He is a playful boy who will be looking for a loving home that will commit to his training - and who will be prepared for the almost-inevitable delayed puppyhood once he finds his feet! He currently gets a little anxious if left, so will do best with a family where there is someone around most of the time.
Gideon was neutered this week and will be fully vaccinated and wormed. He is used to cats and chickens and should be fine with children. He doesn’t travel very well but this should quickly resolve once he learns that cars are the route to lovely places to walk!
Gideon may be arriving in the UK as soon as this weekend.
