MORGAN... is a purebred red setter boy who was found in January in the middle of nowhere in County Louth in Ireland. The poor chap was very thin, timid and suffering from a bad skin allergy.  He was very fearful and submissive and had clearly been mistreated.

Morgan has come on leaps and bounds since then.  He has a lovely temperament - shy, gentle and affectionate. (Yep, we’re sure he really is a setter...)  He is lovely with other dogs and people.

Morgan will need a calm and consistent home to further boost his confidence and, as you can see, he still needs a bit of building up!

He is fully vaccinated (inc for kennel cough) and has been neutered.

If you are interested in Morgan, please email info@blackretrieverx.co.uk asap.

There will be  an adoption fee of  £125 for  Morgan which includes the £65 it cost to transport him from Ireland.

UPDATE 29/5/09

Well Morgan’s paws had hardly hit UK soil before he was rehomed - to Sue and Simon  (who took irish setter Finn from us last year).  We wouldn’t normally rehome a dog quite so quickly, but we know Sue and Simon well and they have given Finn an absolutely wonderful home. As you can see (right and below)  young Morgan (now called Larry) is settling in just fine!
